What is Aevex®?
Aevex® integrates all heating functions into a single panel that is sewn into apparel like an extra layer of fabric. These panels are so light, ultra-thin, and flexible, they virtually disappear inside your apparel. Each panel contains heating materials, electronics, and an ultra-slim rechargeable energy source (no bulky battery packs!).
What is Intelligent Heat™?
Aevex® works in harmony with your body by automatically adjusting to its needs - delivering more heat to the colder parts of your body and less to the warmer parts - automatically providing just the right amount of heat where you need it, when you need it.
How does Aevex® regulate heat?
Aevex® maintains a steady comfortable temperature without a bulky, breakable, and power-hungry thermostatic system. When a part of your body gets cold, so does a unique polymer layer inside the Aevex® panel which automatically increases the production of heat at that specific area. As your cold spot warms to a comfortable temperature, Aevex® rapidly redirects power to other cooler parts of your body. This localized micro-regulation minimizes energy use so that a comfortable, toasty temperature can be maintained for a very long time.
How do you recharge Aevex®?
Simply use the provided charger to recharge Aevex® through any common electrical outlet.

How durable is Aevex®?
We designed Aevex® panels to be exceptionally tough to stand up to the rigors of outdoor occupations and sports. Aevex® will provide a reliable heat source beyond the functional life of most garments it is mated with.
How long will the heat last?
Aevex® powered gloves provide between 4 and 6 hours of continuous heat per charge, depending on conditions and the anatomy of the user. Aevex® panels include an on-off switch so you can turn Aevex® off to further conserve power and heat for when it is needed.
How long does it take to fully charge?
A full charging of the gloves takes 4-6 hours.
Is Aevex® breathable?
The advanced materials used in Aevex® are engineered to preserve the water vapor transport of a garment so users will remain comfortable and dry.
I've damaged my Aevex® apparel - what do I do?
Contact the apparel company to ensure the glove is safe for use.
Will water damage my Aevex® apparel?
If the gloves are immersed in water, immediately deactivate them, drain the water and thoroughly dry.
Can Aevex® apparel be dry-cleaned?

What's the best way to clean my Aevex® garment?
Hand wash only with mild detergent and cold water. Hang dry only. Do not machine wash or dry. Do not dry-clean.
What happens to Aevex® batteries?
We recycle the lithium based energy source within the Aevex® panel at no charge to keep lithium out of the environment. When you're done with the gloves, just send them back to us and we'll take care of it. You can find our address and more information at http://www.aevex.com.
